This has reference to the article ‘Kashmir turmoil’ DE Aug 2.
The article by the author has given a clear picture of the turmoil in Kashmir valley. The present situation in Kashmir is a result of various developments, some of which are external, and can not be wished away. It is the responsibility of the Government of India to present the factual position of Pakistan’s role in Kashmir before the world. Pakistan is right now epicentre of terrorism.
It is exporting it to other countries for fulfilling its nefarious designs. As far as internal factors are concerned, nobody has been serious to resolve this issue once for ever. No nation can afford to have a region in perennial turmoil. It is not only a great constraint on State exchequer, but hinders development as well as brings bad name to the country.
