REASI, Feb 3: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Tehsildar Thakrakote Rajesh has retrieved 4097 kanals of State land from illegal encroachers who had encroached upon it since decades.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ravinder Kumar has categorically directed all the Revenue officers in the district to remove all encroachments on State, Kah-charai and common lands and further directed to remain vigilant against such encroachments in near future.
Taking cognizance of the directions, Tehsildar Thakrakote sought a report from Nabi Tehsildar Thakrakote who after conducting proper enquiry and scrutiny of relevant Revenue record, submitted a detailed factual report regarding illegal encroachments and illegal entries in the Revenue records.

On the basis of recommendations made by field staff and in exercise of powers vested in him under section 133 of Land Revenue Act, Tehsildar Rajesh Baru passed orders to eject illegal encroachers, namely Ghulam Hussain son of Fata, Mohd. Hussain son of Baja, Faried son o Baja, Tirth Ram son of Fukra, Noor Jamal son of Mir Baaz, Mohd Finsha & Mohd . Ashraf son of Ali Mohd. of Chandi, Abdul Rashid son of Adha, Bhagat Ram son of Basantu, Chamial Singh son of Mani Ram, Krishan Singh son of Amru, Ishmail son of Kala of Gabbar, Shakeel Ahmed son of Abdul Rashid of Garhi, Ram Saran son of Mutaba Hussain, Mumtaz Ahmed son of Noor Din of Panassa, Sarbar Hussain son of Wali Mohd. Krishan Singh son of Shivu, Bashir son of Abdul, Chamail Singh & Bahadur Singh son of Mania, Budhi Singh son of Jagat Ram of Ladha and Angrez Singh son of Punjab Singh, Sarbar Hussain son of Wali Mohd of Chakalhawalan from State Land (Makbooja Mehkama Mal) measuring 1097 Kanals under various Khasra numbers in different villages of tehsil Thakrakote, District Reasi.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rajesh Baru as Tehsildar Thakrakote has already retrieved 8231 Kanals of State Land and 437 Kanals of Kahcharai land and 40 Kanals of common land from illegal possession of encroachers with the help of District Police Reasi.
