JAMMU: As many as 41 civilians today exchanged sides in a weekly Poonch-Rawlakote “Peace Bus” via Chakkan-da-Bagh on the Line of Control in Poonch district.
“From this side of the border, only one fresh Indian citizen boarded the bus, while 19 citizens of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) returned back to their homes after completing their stipulated stay on this side,” official sources here said.
They said that from other side, no Indian citizen returned back while fresh 21 PoK residents reached Poonch to meet their relatives.
The gate was opened at 1339 hrs and closed at 1349 hrs. (AGENCIES)
