JAMMU, Apr 28: In the interest of administration, Director Economics and Statistics, B R Lachotra today ordered promotion of 41 Statistical Assistants as Incharge Statistical Officers in their own pay and grade.
The promotees are Qalam-ud-Din, Sunil Dutt, Surida Choudhary, Pamposh Talashi, Deepshika Amla, Syed Raiees Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Syed Raiees Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Subash Chander Abrol, Gh Mohi-ud-Din Tak, Tazeem Ah Wani, Sanjay Kumar, Farida Kounser, Popinder Singh, Showkat Ahmad Mir, Gh Rasool Mir, Shafiq Ahmad Shah, Maryam Jameela, Sulekha Bhan, Manzoor Ahmad Parray, Wahid-ur-Rehman, Sajad Ah Kockay, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Altaf Hussain Bhat, Rafiq Ahmad Dar, M Yousaf Dar, Anis-ur-Rehman, Javeed Ah Zargar, Nazir Hussain, Jagdeep Singh, Lovely Singh, Kalishwar Singh, Mohd Jaleel Malik, Parveen Kour, Tanveer Ahmad, Monika Jain, Aijaz Hussain Shah, Angrez Singh, Bhopinder Singh, Dharam Paul, Vikesh Kumar and Ravi Kumar Sharma.
With these promotions, the long pending demand of the Statistical Assistants has been met by Director.
Meanwhile, the NGSEA in a statement issued by P S Jamwal, president and Sanjeev Gupta, State Publicity Secretary, has appealed the Director to address the other issues of the cadre in the same pace.
