Situation in Kashmir slipping out of control: Lalu

PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad today claimed that the situation in Kashmir Valley was slipping out of the Centre and the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s control and appealed to the people of the state to remain in the “mainstream”.

“Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the country but what I see is that the (situation in) the state is slipping out of control. The situation is not good there,” Prasad said.

In an apparent dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the RJD chief said, “Curfew is in force in the state for the last one month. But the situation is beyond the control of the man with 56-inch chest and the state government.”

Prasad was addressing the national executive meeting of the Federation of PTI Employees Unions here. (AGENCIES)
