JAMMU : Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri today told the Legislative Assembly that the Government is examining the proposal for creation of a special sub-division PW(R&B) at Zainapora in district Shopian.
The Minister also said that the department intends to take up extensive upgradation and macadamization of roads under “Cities & Towns programme” during 2017-18 as per availability of funds adding that the work-wise programme is yet to be formulated.
The Minister was replying to a question by MLA Wachi Aijaz Ahmed Mir.
