Udhampur Martyr Capt Tushar’s parents meet Dr Jitendra Singh

NEW DELHI: Minister of State in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh said that the nation was eternally indebted and no award or prize could ever repay for the supreme sacrifice of brave hearts like our martyrs.

He was speaking after meeting the parents of Martyr Capt Tushar Mahajan who sacrificed his life in a counter-militancy operation early last year. He said that it was because of these young soldiers that we all were able to carry on with our daily routine in safe environs.

“These youngsters stay awake when we sleep, they remain empty stomach when we eat and they lay down their life so that we can remain alive,” said Dr Singh. Capt Tushar’s parents were in Delhi to receive Shaurya Chakra (posthumous) on behalf of their son.  (AGENCIES)
