MUMBAI: Debutante director Dinesh Vijan considers Deepika Padukone as her lucky mascot and has roped in the actress to feature in the title track of his upcoming film “Raabta”.
The producer-turned-director said he messaged Deepika to do a song in the movie and she instantly agreed.
“Deepika gives attention to small details. She sat with me for sometime to understand the nuances and mood of the song. I am glad she shot for the title track of my film. I believe she is lucky for me,” Dinesh said in a statement.
The song which was shot in Budapest, Hungary will be out tomorrow.
Deepika and Dinesh have teamed up for films like “Love Aaj Kal”, “Cocktail” and “Finding Fanny”.
“Raabta” starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh is set to release on June 9. (AGENCIES)
