5.3 magnitude quake rocks Srinagar

SRINAGAR, July 25:
A 5.3 magnitude quake jolted the Kashmir valley, including Srinagar, forcing people to rush out of their houses in panic in the wee hours today.
The tremors, which lasted for few seconds, were felt at around 0230 hrs.
A Met Department spokes-person said the temblor was epicentred at Pakistan.    There was no immediate report of any loss of life or damage to property. (UNI)
