DODA, July 13: Five absconders wanted in different cases and were evading their arrest for past several years have been arrested by Doda Police.
These absconders include Baj Din, son of Gulab Din, a resident of Gallandar Kashtigarh was involved in case registered under FIR Number 8/2011 and was evading arrest for the last eleven years, Joginder Kumar son of Amarnath resident of Cheakha Bhaderwah involved in case FIR Number 81/2009 under Section 380 RPC who was evading arrest for the last twelve years, Irshad Bashir, son of Qasim Din, a resident of Jaraie Kathua who was involved in case FIR Number 195/2014 under Sections 8/20/21 NDPS Act and was evading absconding for the last seven years, Swami Raj, son of Jameet Ram, a resident of Gagla Kashtigarh who was involved in case FIR Number 31/1992 under Sections 323, 341 and 34 RPC and was absconding since 1992 and Gull Mohd alias Gulla, son of Abdul Majeed, resident of Ludana Gudana Doda who was involved in case FIR Number 34/2004 under Sections 458 and 447 RPC and was evading arrest for the past 16 years.
According to official statement, Doda Police launched a drive to nab these absconders and developed various human and technical informations after which a special police team was constituted by SSP Doda for the arrest.
The said team after making hectic efforts succeed in arresting them from different places under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Jaswant Singh and SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed.
