RAMBAN, Aug 26: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Aijaz today ordered suspension of five employees after they were found absent from duty without taking leave.
During a surprise inspection by the DC, some officials were found absent from their duties without proper permission besides not maintaining their movement registers.
Taking serious note of their unauthorized absence, the DC ordered the suspension of five employees including two officials of District Fund Office and one each of R&B, District Treasury Office, and ZPEO of District Youth Services and Sports department
Further explanation was also sought from District Treasury Officer and Chief Account Officer of District Fund Office Ramban within two days regarding their unauthorized absence from their duties.
He further ordered that a charge sheet shall be served upon them for the misconduct. The DC also passed strict instructions to the office heads against allowing any employee without permission. He asked them to adhere to the office timing to avoid inconvenience to the general public.
