UDHAMPUR, Aug 8: Five domestic animals were killed in collapse of a cattle shed due to heavy rains at Saniote Chack in Udhampur, last night while a cloth shop caught fire at Jaganoo Morh.
Reports said that due to heavy rains, cattle shed owned by Ashik Ali of Saniote Chack collapsed resulting into death of five animals. The incident took place late last night and the animals could not be rescued due to heavy rain.
Meanwhile, a cloth shop of one Ramesh Kumar, son of Ishar Dass of Marothi, situated at Jaganoo Morh Udhampur, caught fire apparently due to short circuit. However, the fire was timely detected and controlled.
