5 booked for restricting medical team from performing duties

BHADERWAH, July 27: Police booked five persons for restricting medical team led by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bhaderwah from performing duties related to COVID-19 pandemic.
As per police sources, five persons identified as Surinder Kumar, son of Omi Dass, Nand Lal, son of Krishan Lal, Arun Kumar, son of Anar Chand, Hoshiyar Lal, son of Hans Raj and Bishan Dass, son of Mani Ram, all resident of village Dalian were booked for restricting medical team led by BMO Bhaderwah from performing duties related to COVID-19 pandemic.
A case under FIR Number 81/2020 under section 188 and 353 IPC and 51 Disaster Management Act 3(2) Epidemic Disease Act at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
The action was initiated by the Police after receiving application from Additional District Magistrate Bhaderwah.
