5 bovine animals rescued

JAMMU, Apr 27: Talab Tillo police foiled bovine smuggling bid and rescued five cattle.
As per police sources, a team from Talab Tillo police post laid a naka and signaled a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02AJ-4656 to stop for checking.
The driver accelerated the vehicle and tried to escape from the spot, but lost control and hit the vehicle with a pole. The driver taking benefit of the darkness escaped from the spot.
Police reached the spot and rescued five bovine animals from the vehicle.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nowabad police station and manhunt launched to nab the bovine smuggler.
Police team led by Incharge Talab Tillo police post SI Rahul Mahajan foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector RS Choudhary, SDPO West Sugandha Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
