5 bovines rescued, one arrested

RAMBAN, Feb 14: Gool Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing five bovine animals and arresting one smuggler.
As per police sources, a team from Gool Police Station led by ASI Prem Nath laid a naka at Duksar Dalwah and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued five bovines from the vehicle and arrested one person, who has been identified as Altaf Hussain, son of Mohammad Shafi of Duksar Dalwah. Two associates of the arrested person identified as Javed Ahmed (driver), son of Abdul Gani of Chanderkote and Zakir Hussain, son of Keema of Duksar Dalwah managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 9/2020 under section 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Gool and hunt has been launched to nab the escaped bovines smugglers.
