UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued five bovines in the jurisdiction of Police Station Panchari.
A team of Police Station Panchari intercepted the accused who was taking these bovines towards Ramban side on foot. Bovine smuggler namely Mirza, son of Sheedu, resident of Sadhota Panchari, was arrested on the spot. All the bovines were rescued and shifted to a safer place.
In this regard, case FIR number 63/2024, under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Panchari.
