UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: The police rescued five bovine animals and seized a Tata Mobile vehicle in Sudhmahadev area of Chenani today.
Reports said a police team foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued five bovine animals at Bupp Naka, The cops also seized Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK14J- 5106.
The police found that bovine animals were tied with ropes in a cruel manner. A case was registered in this connection. The police claimed that driver escaped from the spot.
