RAJOURI, July 9: The police rescued five bovine animals during nakka in Siot area of Nowshera last night while the smugglers managed to give slip to the cops.
A police spokesman said that Police party led by SHO Dharamsal, Mohd Bashir intercepted five bovine animals last night at Siot when the two smugglers were carrying them on foot just to cross naka point. They had to load these animals in a vehicle at some distance. The police was observing their activity. While the smugglers managed to escape taking benefit of darkness, the animals were seized by police. The police registered a case FIR No. 57/2015 at PS Dharamsal and started investigation.
