MENDHAR, Nov 29: A fire broke out in a cattle-shed at Salwah village, in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district on Friday morning, killing five buffaloes.
The cause of fire is yet to be determined. Farmer Mohammad Zahid has suffered significant financial losses.
Villagers tried to control the blaze but couldn’t save the cattle. Authorities are investigating the incident, while the locals have requested for compensation to the farmer.
