JAMMU, Oct 28: A Lok Adalat was held in the District Court Complex Kathua under the chairmanship of Puneet Gupta, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Kathua.
Two benches were constituted. The first bench was headed by Puneet Gupta, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Principal, District and Sessions Judge Kathua and assisted by SC Katal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Kathua. The second bench was headed by Deepak Sethi, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua and assisted by Naushad Ahmed Khan, Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua.
The first bench settled 4 MACT cases and awarded money to the tune of Rs 23,20,000. The second bench disposed-off one criminal case.
