RAJOURI, Dec 19: Five cattle were charred to death in Kotranka area of Rajouri last night.
Official sources said that a portion of the house of one Mohd Alam, son of Raj Mohd, resident of Kanthol Sadda in Kotranka caught fire during night. While the members managed to escape but their adjoining cattle shed and house were reduced to ashes. Five cattle including three buffaloes and two oxen were charred to death in the mishap. Short circuit is said to be the reason behind the mishap.
