5 day training programme commences at Patanjali Training Centre

HARIDWAR, Feb 10: A Five day long training programme on development of Bakrey products were commenced at Patanjali Training Centre here today.
The programme was inaugurated by Charanjit singh, Additional Secretary, Union Rural Development Ministry in the presence of Anand Saroop, CEO UKSRLM.
The motive behind organising the camp was to promote the Barkey products made by women self-help groups (SHGs).
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said “The Ministry now recognises Patanjali as National Resource Organisation for its National Rural Livelihoods Mission. The PM Modi Government is committed to help rural SHG women by promoting their products by organising these camps to provide training to women.”
During the camp, the women should be trained how to make cakes, biscuits, bread, the branding of their products, packaging, labelling as well as the marketing of their products.
On the occasion, Anand Saroop expressed gratitude to the Patanjali for organising such training camps and workshops for the upliftment of the women SSHs.
Later the ministry officials made a tour of the Patanjali Training centre.
