SRINAGAR, Nov 10: Kashmir reported five more COVID-19 deaths today, taking the fatality count in Jammu and Kashmir to 1551 while 286 people tested positive for Coronavirus taking the number of such cases in J&K to 99844.
The victims include two Srinagar residents and one each from Baramulla, Pulwama and Bandipora.
Srinagar district with 383 deaths topped the list followed by Baramulla 151, Budgam 94, Pulwama 84, Kupwara 75, Anantnag 76, Kulgam 48, Bandipora 48, Shopian 35 and Ganderbal 35.
Kashmir today reported 286 fresh COVID-19 cases taking the number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 99,844.
Those who tested positive include 131 from Srinagar, 28 Baramulla, 38 from Budgam, 9 Pulwama, 14 Kupwara, 18 Anantnag, 10 Bandipora, 36 Ganderbal, 1 Kulgam and 1 from Shopian.
As per officials figures, 20,705 positive cases including 383 deaths and 18,917 recoveries are from Srinagar, 6,554 including 151 deaths and 5,593 recoveries are from Baramulla, 6,314 including 5,918 recoveries and 95 deaths are from Budgam, 4,793 including 4,565 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Pulwama, 4,702 including 75 deaths and 4,203 recoveries are from Kupwara, 4,345 including 4,089 recoveries and 75 deaths are from Anantnag, 4,167 cases including 3,954 and 48 deaths are from Bandipora, 3,803 including 3,484 recoveries and 35 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,529 including 2,396 recoveries and 48 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,264 including 2,140 recoveries and 35 deaths are from Shopian.
The officials said that total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 5,415 including 3,888 from Kashmir division.
With 635 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 92,880 which is 93.02 percent of the total cases.
Out of 2,529,786 number of samples tested, 2,429,942 were negative and as 99,844 positive. Among them 5,415 are active, 92,880 persons have recovered and 1,549 persons died.
