JAMMU, Mar 28: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has ordered transfer and postings of 5 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) with immediate effect.
According to the order, Imtiaz Ahmad, DySP IR-23rd Battalion under transfer to PC Magam has been posted as SO to DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range against available post. DySP DAR Handwara in addition to his own duties will look after the work of DySP PC Magam Handwara till further orders.
Rashid Younis, DySP CID SB Kupwara was transferred and posted as DySP PC Kupwara, while Bhupinder Kumar, DySP JKAP-8th Battalion under transfer to PC Awantipora was posted as DySP CID CI Jammu/Samba. SDPO Awantipora in addition to his own duties shall look after the work of DySP PC Anantnag till further orders.
Bashir Ahmad, DySP IR-11th Battalion has been transferred and posted as DySP JKAP-13th Battalion, while Zia-ul-Haq, DySP awaiting orders of adjustment has been posted as DySP IR-22nd Battalion.
