POONCH, July 9: Five persons were injured, two of them seriously, when a car met with an accident on Mughal Road today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when the Swift car No. JK12B/1115 was on way to Surankot from Chandimarh on Mughal Road. It rolled down into a gorge near Bufliaz, causing injuries to five persons on board.
The injured were rushed to Surankote hospital. They were identified as Jaspreet Singh, son of Manjeet Singh from Poonch City, Manpreet Singh, son of Jagjit Singh from Nangali, Mahroz Ali, son of Farooq Hussain from Potha, Haseeb Khan, son of Arshed Khan from Potha and Manpreet Singh, son of Harbakash Singh from Dungus in Poonch. Two of them further referred to GMC Jammu, the police said.
