POONCH, Nov 18: Five persons were injured when truck and Tempo collided near Sanai village in Surankote area of Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that truck No. JK14A/ 8165 collided with Tempo (T-Magic), bearing registration number JK-12/6037 on Jammu-Poonch highway at Sanai, causing injuries to the five persons including Tempo driver.
The driver, Ishtiaq Ahmed, son of Khalil Ahmed, resident of Potha in Surankote and four others were shifted to SDH Surankote by police party. The other victims are identified as Tahita Begum, wife of Ashiq Hussain from Lothang; Nazir Hussain, son of Fazal Hussain from Morha Bachhai; Mohd Ali (5), son of Ashiq Hussain and Wazir Bi, wife of Talib Hussain from Mohra Bachhai in Surankote. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
