Srinagar, Sept 24: Security forces today arrested five hybrid militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba in Kulgam district.
An official said that Kulgam police alongwith 1RR, 9RR, 18 Bn CRPF and 46 Bn CRPF busted two militant modules and arrested five hybrid militants.
He said that two pistols, three hand granedes, one UBGL, two pistol magazines, 12 pistol rounds and 21 AK 47 rounds have been recovered from their possession.

The arrested militant associates have been identified as Aadil Hussain Wani son of Lal Din Wani, resident of Poniwah, Suhail Ahmad Dar son of Siraj Ahmad Dar resident of Bugam, Aitmad Ahmad Laway son of Abdul Rashid Laway resident of Brazilian Jageer, Mehraj Ahmad Lone son of Bashir Ahmad Lone, resident of Hawoora and Sabzar Ahmad Khar son of Ghulam Mohammad Khar, a resident of Ghat Redwani Payeen.
A case (FIR No. 62/2023) has been registered at Police Station Qaimoh and another case (FIR No. 167/2023 under relevant sections of law) has been registered and further investigation initiated in both cases.
