5 IEDs siezed in Mahore

JAMMU, Feb 1: Army today detected and defused five Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) at village Shikari Top in Mahore area of Reasi district.
Reports said troops of Rashtriya Rifles conducted a search operating in the heights of Shikari Top and recovered four IEDs, weighing one kg, with detonators in metallic cylinders and one IED, weighing 500 grams.
The IEDs were taken to safe area and defused by the bomb disposal squad.
A major tragedy has been averted with timely detection of the IEDs and defusing them by the troops, reports said.
