SAMBA, May 30: Five people were injured in a bus and truck collision this morning near Gura Morh situated on the Jammu- Pathankot National Highway falling under the jurisdiction of Vijaypur Police Station. The injured were identified as Gaurav Saththia, son of Hari Singh, Sukhdev Sharma, son of Nand Lal, Khem Raj, son of Des Raj, Mannu Sharma, wife of Suresh Kumar and Muhammad.
According to information, the accident took place in the morning when a passenger bus was going from Vijaypur to Jammu. As soon as the bus reached near a sharp turn, the driver stopped the bus to give lift to a passenger. At the same time a truck coming from behind hit the bus.
Five people were injured. The locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Vijaypur Hospital, where they were given first aid by the doctors. The Vijaypur police filed the case and started investigating in the matter.
