KATRA, Mar 30: Five members of a family were injured when their Maruti car skidded off the road and met with accident on Katra -Jammu Road, here this morning.
The Maruti car, bearing registration number JK14B- 4016, met with accident at Manghal area near Vivanta Hotel on Katra-Jammu road, resulting into injuries to five persons on board.
The injured were shifted to CHC Katra where doctors referred three of them to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured were identified as Sonu, age 28 years, son of Tirath Ram, resident of Bhaga; his sister Anshika Sharma, age 15 years; wife Shallu Sharma, age 22 years; Meenakshi, age 22 years, daughter of Radhey Shyam, resident of Manghal and Varun Sharma, age 16 years, son of Vikas Sharma, resident of Manghal.
After giving first aid, doctors referred Sonu, Anshika and Meenakshi to GMC Jammu for better treatment.
