JAMMU, May 4: At least five persons were injured in a road accident here today, officials said.
They said an auto load carrier was hit by a truck at Jagti area on Jammu-Udhampur stretch of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting in injuries to five persons.
They were taken to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu where they are undergoing treatment.
Police identified the injured as Amit (42) son of Kuldeep Raj of Talab Tillo Jammu, Pappu (55) son of Gian Chand of Talab Tillo Jammu, Milkhi (40) son of Hari Ram of Ramnagar, Kaka (35) son of Charan Dass of Ramnagar, and Vikram (22) son of Kuldeep of Paloura.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
