UDHAMPUR, Jan 29: Five persons were injured in three separate road accidents in Udhampur District, during the last 24 hours.
According to the police report, a Tipper bearing registration number JK14B-5799 hit an Alto on the National Highway at By Pass near Garnai. Rehambal police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Abishak Sharma (19) son of Madhan Lal of Kalar Udhampur, Rakesh Kumar (22) son of Sudesh Kumar of Vinus Chowk Udhampur and Sahil Sharma (22), son of Sudarshn Kumar of Kallar. Doctors referred Abishak Sharma to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical injuries.
Meanwhile, an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian, who was walking on the road side, near Mian Bagh Dhar Road Udhampur. Locals took the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu. The injured was identified as Hem Raj (35) son of Rattan Chand of Jonu in Udhampur
Another pedestrian was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Chenani. Some passersby shifted the injured to Sub District Hospital Chanani where doctors referred him to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured was identified as Satish Angral (32) son of Shiv Ram of Talab Tilo Jammu.
