JAMMU, Oct 8: Five persons were injured today when a mini-bus turned turtle in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a rashly driven mini-bus bearing registration number JK02AK-1022, which was on its way from Panjgrain to Akhnoor, turned turtle at Kalewali.
Five persons were injured in the mishap and shifted to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor for treatment. They were identified as Kanta Devi (40) wife of Rashpal Chand, resident of Panjgrain, Anju Devi (20) daughter of Bansi Lal of Panjgrain, Suman Devi (22) daughter of Som Nath of Jadh, Ashwani Kumar (21) son of Situ Ram of Panjgrain and Aruna Devi (40) wife of Som Nath of Jadh.
In this connection, a case FIR No 208/2017 under Sections 279/337 RPC has been registered at police station Akhnoor and investigation started.
