REASI, Aug 8: Five persons were injured in a road accident near Shulla in Reasi area today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when a Maruti van bearing registration number JK14A/ 3147 was going from Reasi to Katra. When it reached near Shulla, it went out of control and fell into a gorge. Five persons onboard were injured in the mishap.
All the injured were rushed to District Hospital Katra. They were identified as Ankush (16), son of Baldev Raj; Devinder Kumar (18), son of Des Raj; Jasbir Singh, son of Vakil Singh and Driver Manvir Singh, all residents of Salal. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
