UDHAMPUR, July 29: Five persons were injured in two different road accidents on the National Highway, here today.
According to the police reports, a Bolero hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK14B-7177, at Battal Balian road Udhampur, resulting into injuries to Gopal Krishan (26) son of Ravi Kumar of Karan Nagar Udhampur and Harjeet Singh (20) son of Hira Singh of Sailan Talab Udhampur.
The duo was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment while Police has registered a case in this connection.
In another accident, a truck driver walking on the roadside was hit by a Scooty near Battal Balian, By- Pass road National Highway Udhampur , resulting into injuries to the pedestrian, Scooty rider and his pillion. The injured were identified as a truck driver Jasbinder Singh (34) son of Jarnail Singh of Punjab and Navneet (17) son of Kuldeep Kumar of Garhi, Rohit (17) son of Girdhari Lal of Garhi Udhampur. The trio was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred Navneet and Rohit to MH Hospital Udhampur.
