5 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Nov 13: Five persons were injured in different accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman sai d that an Alto 800 bearing chassis number 19A3EUA-61500903836 driven by Talib Ahmad Khan hit a motorcycle driven by Irfan Ahmed Dar at Hygam area of Baramulla district along National Highway, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate Aatif Nazir Dar.
“Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said. The spokesman said that a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK01/8067 driven by Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ghulam Rasool at Tikker area of Kupwara district.
“The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” said the spokesman. He said a Tanker bearing registration number JK16/3211 hit and injured a person namely Abdul Ahad Bhat on Srinagar-Gulmarg road at Kawoosa Khalisa village of Magam in Budgam district.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, said the spokesman, adding that police have registered a case in this regard. He said an unknown vehicle hit and injured a person namely Abdul Rashid Bhat at Lar Bypass in Ganderbal district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
