KATHUA, Aug 7: The police seized a truck and recovered 5 kg poppy straw during the search at naka point near Kharote Morh today.
Reports said a police naka party intercepted a truck No. JK08/7703 at Kharote Morh on a specific information today and recovered 5 kg of poppy straw during the search. The driver of the truck, Gulshan Kumar, son of Tara Chand resident of Merath village was arrested. The police registered a case FIR No. 298/12 in this connection. Further, investigation was in progress.
