SRINAGAR, June 27: Police today recovered about 5 kg of charas from a bus at a check point in Kulgam, a spokesperson of police said.
A bus bearing registration number JK02A/1313 was intercepted at security check post Kulgam and during search over 5 kgs of charas was recovered from the bus. Police said they are investigating to ascertain the identity of the peddler who was smuggling the contraband.
An FIR under Section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered.
