JAMMU, Apr 18: Miran Sahib Police averted a major tragedy by arresting five notorious criminals along with sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, on receiving inputs that five criminals have hatched a conspiracy of attacking a person residing in Arnia, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan swung into action and after taking the technical and human aid apprehended five notorious criminals along with sharp edged weapons.
The arrested persons were identified as Suresh Kumar alias Monu, son of Ram Pal of Malikpur Kothay RS Pura, Ran Vijay Singh alias Rummy, son of Surinder Singh of Dhabbar Bishnah, Manjeet Singh alias Manu, son of Kuldeep Singh of Nougran Bishnah, Rajveer Singh alias Love, son of Samporan Singh of Kathar Kothey Arnia and Rishav Charak alias Rishu, son of Rakesh Pal Singh of Salehar Bishnah.
During intensive questioning, all the 5 accused accepted that they intended to attack a person because of some old enmity.
A case under FIR Number 36/2021 under Section 4/25 Arms Act and 34 IPC has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation initiated.
