One dead body found from Nallah

UDHAMPUR, July 22: A young couple and their three minor children are feared dead after an accident as the car, they were travelling in, has been missing since yesterday while dead body of the man was found lying in Kaghote Nallah near bridge, under the jurisdiction of Ramnagar Police Station.
The deceased, identified as Mohan Lal (40), son of Bhagat Ram of village Jindrari, was accompanied by his wife Rekha Devi (30) and their three minor children namely Pooja Devi (8), Mukesh Bhagat (10) and Naksh Bhagat (3), who are also feared to have died in the mishap and drowned in the Nallah. The family was on way from Jandrore to Chenani, yesterday.
Even as local Police along with SDRF has launched a massive operation to locate the bodies, no success was achieved till filing of the report, late this evening. SDPO Ramnagar G R Bhardwaj and SHO Ramnagar, Inspector Jaswinder Singh were personally supervising the search operation.
Deceased Mohan Lal, who was posted as Teacher at Middle School Langa , had recently purchased the new Alto car in which he along with his wife and three children was travelling at the time of mishap. The family was on way to residence of Mohan Lal’s sister in Chenani when they went missing .
After the family went missing and their mobile numbers were found switched off, brother of Mohan Lal lodged a missing report at Police Station Ramnagar , last evening. Coming into action, SHO Ramnagar Jaswinder Singh along with SDPO Gharu Ram Bhardwaj launched a search operation during which they found dead body of Mohan Lal lying at Kaghote Nallah near Bridge.
After the dead body was identified by Mohan Lal’s brother, police intensified the search operation to locate bodies of other missing persons. Later SDRF team also joined the Police party in search operation, which continued till late evening. However, no other body or wreckage of the car could be found.
According to police, the operation will be resumed tomorrow morning for search of other bodies, which might have washed away to distant area as the Nallah was overflowing.
