JAMMU, May 12: Government today deployed two officers in Kashmir and three in Jammu for COVID mitigation efforts.
According to the order, Mehmood Ahmad Shah (Director Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir) and Tufail Matoo (who was awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department) are hereby deployed with Zubair Ahmad, Commissioner/ Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs for assisting in COVID containment related work at Kashmir, in addition to their own duties.
Issuing another order, Government has deployed three Junior KAS officers namely Virender Kumar (presently deployed at Finance Department), Navdeep Sabharwal (presently on COVID duty in district Samba) and Abhimanyu Singh (presently deployed at Industries & Commerce Department) with Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Administrative Secretary, Tribal Affiars Department for assisting in COVID containment related work at Jammu.
