5 police personnel, 2 civilian injured in Kashmir grenade blast

SRINAGAR :  Five personnel of Jammu and Kashmir  police and two civilians were injured when militants hurled a hand grenade on the security forces deployed near district hospital at Pulwama in south Kashmir this afternoon.
Official sources said here that militants hurled a hand grenade towards a police party near the hospital.
They said five police personnel and two civilians were injured in the blast, they said, adding senior civil and police officials have rushed to the spot.
The blast came hours after four people were killed and another injured in a shootout near a CRPF camp in south Kashmir district of Shopian.
