SRINAGAR, Apr 27: The administration today sealed at least five illegal shopping complexes in Kanaspora area on the Baramulla-Uri National Highway in North Kashmir.
An official said that a team of officials visited the spot after receiving a complaint that some commercial structures are being built illegally on the highway. “The complaint was found to be true and the structures were sealed immediately. Moreover, the construction was happening without any permission,” he said.
He said that the drive would continue in the future and that if anyone was caught building in the no-construct zones on either side of the highways, they would face consequences. “Violators will be prosecuted as per law,” he said.
