Srinagar, Jan 30: Five shops were damaged in two separate fire incidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said four shops of Mushtaq Ahmad Sakroo son of Ghulam Rasool of Khawaja Bagh and Nazir Ahmad Ganie son of Ghulam Qadir of Dragbal were gutted completely when fire broke out in a nearby fish market in district Baramulla.
Fire broke out in the shop of Bashir Ahmad Bhat of Chittergul near Hill-top Sumo stand in district Anantnag.
He said fire tenders prevented the fire from engulfing adjacent shops.
