JAMMU, July 12: Channi Himmat, Janipur, Sidhra and Manwal Police seized five vehicles involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Karan Chalotra, Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali, Police Post Sidhra led by SI Shakeel Ahmed and Police Post Manwal led by Inspector Vikram Singh Jasrotia raided different locations in their respective areas and seized five different vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The mining was being done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
