JAMMU, Aug 10: Sidhra, Jhajjar Kotli and Manwal Police seized five vehicles involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, teams from Police Post Sidhra led by SI Shakil Ahmed, Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh and Police Post Manwal led by Inspector Vikram Singh Jasrotia raided different locations in their respective areas and seized five different vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The mining was being done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
