JAMMU, Apr 6: At least five vehicles were seized for mining illegally in Jammu District on Thursday, police said.
They said two vehicles were seized by Police Station Gharota, one tractor trolley by Police Station Bishnah, one tipper by Police Post Chinnore and one tractor trolley by Police Post Phallain Mandal.
The recoveries were made by SHO Gharota Inspector Joginder Singh Chib, SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma, incharge Police Post Chinnore PSI Rajesh Kumar and incharge Police Post Phallain Mandal, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal.
“The vehicles seized were mining in violation of a High Court order,” he said.
