UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: Five youth from Vijaypur in Samba district, were injured when a Swift car, they were traveling in, was hit by a truck at Gambir Bridge, near Manwal in Udhampur.
The Swift car, bearing registration number JK21C-4300, was on its way from Samba to Udhampur when it was hit by truck JK22-8410, coming from Kashmir to Manwal at Gambir Bridge near Manwal.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to Primary Health Center (PHC) Majalta. The injured were identified as Mittal Khajuria (24) son of Vijay Kumar, Rajinder Singh (25) son of Rashpal Singh, Nitish Khajuria (27) son of Nagar Mal, Suneel Sharma (25) son of Parshotam Sharma and Rohit (21) son of Kuldeep Sambyal.
Doctors referred Rohit and Suneel to GMC Jammu in view of serious injuries.
