SRINAGAR, Aug 24: As many as 50 officials of Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police, including 23 Sub Inspectors (SI), four Selection Grade Constables (Sgct) and 23 constables have been promoted in the state.
A police spokesperson said here today that 50 officers and officials of Armed Police were promoted by a Departmental Promotion Committee here today.
The promotees included 23 SIs, 4 Sgcts and 23 Constables. They were promoted to the next higher scale and band, he said.
Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed (J&K) K L Mohanti expressed hope that the promoted officials will continue to work with the same zeal and dedication.
