NEW YORK, June 28: Rapper 50 Cent was hospitalised following a horrific car crash on the Long Island Expressway here and later discharged after doing fine.
The 36-year-old hip-hop star was injured in his neck and back after a collision between his SUV, which was being driven by someone else, and a truck in the early hours of June 26, reported New York Daily News.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearby medical facility along with his driver.
After sometime, the Grammy winner was released from the hospital.
“Curtis 50 Cent Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine,” a representative of 50 Cent said.
50 Cent is set to release his new album ‘Black Magic’ this summer. (PTI)
